YIT, Kemi Sarius Hotel Project

Project Description

In 2007, the construction company YIT will launch a project in Kemi, which was to turn Kemi's development into a thriving tourist city. The core of the project is a 20-storey hotel with its spas next to the indoor swimming pool. In 2014, YIT will change its plans. It is no longer intended to build a hotel, but a hybrid hotel, which will include apartments in addition to hotel rooms. In 2016, Kurtti will start selling townhouses in Ruuti's so-called dog park. In 2017, the construction company YIT announces that it will abandon the hotel project.
