WPD Luleå Wind Farm Bergön

Wpd's plans to establish a wind farm on Bergön 20 kilometers southwest of Kalix in the Gulf of Bothnia archipelago. The facility on Bergön is planned to include a maximum of 31 wind turbines with a maximum height of 200 meters. Bergön is one of the highest islands in the Gulf of Bothnia archipelago there and some of the wind turbines will be located about 80 meters above sea level. This means that the total height will be almost 300 meters, the works will be visible from Finland in the east to Piteå in the south. The wind farm is planned to be located on the south side of Bergön.
